Is the Orlando lifestyle scene mostly tourists or locals?
We're considering moving to Orlando and want to know about the local lifestyle community. Is it mostly tourists passing through, or is there a solid base of local couples? We don't want to always be meeting one-time visitors.

Great question, and the answer is: it's both, which is actually a strength.
Orlando has a solid core of local lifestyle couples. The metro area has over 2.5 million people and the lifestyle community is well-established. You'll see the same friendly faces at Secrets Hideaway, Orlando Swingers Club, and Ranch 4 Play on a regular basis. The local community does monthly meetups, dinner parties, and house parties beyond just the club scene.
But yes, tourists add a constant flow of new faces. Orlando gets 75 million visitors a year, and a surprising number of lifestyle couples plan their Orlando vacations around a visit to Secrets Hideaway or the clubs. This means every weekend you have the chance to meet couples from all over the country and the world.
The ratio is probably 60% locals, 40% tourists on any given Saturday night. The locals tend to come out more consistently and form the social backbone, while the tourists add variety and excitement. It's honestly the best of both worlds.
We moved here from Chicago 5 years ago and building a local lifestyle friend group was easy. The Orlando community is welcoming and not cliquey.

Local couple here, been in the Orlando scene for 7 years. The community is strong. We have a core group of about 20 couples we see regularly and we're always meeting new people. Secrets Hideaway is the hub — if you become a regular there, you'll quickly become part of the community. The tourist factor is actually nice because it keeps things from getting stale.
